The Center for Justice Administration, under the auspices of the Department of Criminal Justice, Social and Political Science, has developed certificate programs to assist in-service criminal justice professionals. The aim is to serve the educational needs of those unable to pursue traditional college education due to conflicts with shift work, court appearances, duty assignments, and other job requirements.

Each course consists of a 40 hour week of class which meets Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Upon successful completion of each course, students will receive three semester hours of college credit. These classes may also be applied toward criminal justice degree requirements. The application fee for admission is $20 and is non-refundable. Tuition (FY 2005-2006) is $346 per undergraduate course, and $406 per graduate level course.
