Center for Justice Administration

The Armstrong Atlantic State University Center for Justice Administration welcomes you to our site.

We offer programs tailored to the unique needs of criminal justice professionals, as well as our Pre-Service and Legal Studies programs for those interested in pursuing a career in Justice Administration.
  • Police Academy Pre-Service Program
    If you are not employed with a law enforcement agency, the Police Academy Pre-Service Program may be for you. Successful completion of the training enables individuals to become candidates for P.O.S.T. certification.

  • Undergraduate and Master Degree Program For Law Enforcement Officers
    The Center for Justice Administration, under the auspices of the Department of Criminal Justice, Social and Political Science, has developed certificate programs to assist in-service criminal justice professionals. The aim is to serve the educational needs of those unable to pursue traditional college education due to conflicts with shift work, court appearances, duty assignments, and other job requirements.

  • Paralegal Program
    Law firms, banks, government agencies, corporations, etc., employ paralegals and the demand for highly trained professionals continues to increase. Completion of the paralegal program will prepare you for the highest standard of the profession.

  • Legal Secretary Certificate Program
    Legal secretaries handle the majority of administrative responsibilities, from providing research information to preparing correspondence. The AASU Legal Secretary program will give you the training you will need to exceed in this profession.
